Denise & Mark

When first meeting Denise she told me we had done her sisters wedding the year before, so it was great to get family members coming back a second time. Between lots of chats on emails and the phone, denise forwarded on one photo of the bouquet she liked and I was able to get her hopes and dreams to create the wow factor for her wedding flowers. We had a mix of autumnal colours in denises bouquet which included velvety red roses, crisp white lisianthus, whispy thalaspi, sweet smelling freesia and fun looking poppy seed heads, stunning burgundy astilbe with lots of foliages.

For the church Marks dad lovingly crafted 6 wooden vases which we filled with fabulous arrangements for the windows and on the altar. After the ceremony is over we then transferred these to the River Court Hotel for the dining tables, along with the Jars filled with flowers that we had used for the pew ends. Its so cost effective to be able to use the flowers again in the reception room. Another use of the flowers would be to tell the guests, one person at the table can take home the jar of flowers, maybe the winner of a game at the table.  We provide the service of transferring all the flowers from the church to the hotel, we use our vans to transfer all the large arrangements and they are transported safely and easily without any fuss to you or your guests on the day.

It was a miserable day weather wise, but it definitely did not put a dampener on this fabulous couples day, all I could see all throughout the day was smiles on both mark and denise’s faces, from when I delivered the bouquets early in the morning to the end of our day once the dining room was set up, they were just so thrilled with everything.

The Photographer for the day was greg from who took some superb photos, some of which were taken in Rothe House & Gardens in the historic city of Kilkenny, this is where the photo of Denise and her bridesmaid was taken at the old fireplace.

Balloon installation on the day supplied by the fabulous Jackie from Blooming Balloons in kilkenny city.

It was an absolute pleasure to work for Denise and Mark, my team and I wish them all the luck in the world.
